YET another terrorist attempt

New York City police have defused an improvised car bomb parked in Times Square, one of the city's busiest tourist areas, officials say.

They say propane tanks, fireworks, petrol, and a clock device were removed from a parked sports utility vehicle.Both US President Barack Obama and New York City Mayor Michael Bloomberg praised the quick response by the New York Police Department."We are very lucky," Mr Bloomberg told reporters. "Thanks to alert New Yorkers and professional police officers, we avoided what could have been a very deadly event." "There were explosive elements, including powder, gasoline, propane and some kind of electrical wires attached to a clock," police spokesman Paul Browne told reporters early on Sunday.

again and again and again, ever since the 911 strike on the united states, terrorism have been constantly threatening the USA.i really do not understand why people are out there killing their own kind. this, to me is a serious issue that everyone is trying very hard to stop yet not able to.Due to ignorant religion beliefs, people are literately 'brainwashed' and instructed to take innocent lives.taking this case as an example, officials did commented that the bomb look amateurish, so it may be works of a newly brainwashed terrorist.due to this incident, many operating malls and tourist attractions have to stand down, which also means the huge amount of losses in terms of momentary.however, its a relief that the NYPD bomb squad were fully prepared to due with the situation.in conclusion, i do feel that its a very threatening event that should not happen again.
